You fell. Hey fella, you fell.

Music: Franz Fredinand - Take Me Out

Updated the What to Think section.

It's been a while, mostly because I haven't been able to muster the energy to do much more than sit around at home. I'd like to be working more often, as much as I enjoy not getting paid, it keeps me occupied.

I've opened a TV section on my FTP, so that should sum up all the excitement going on around here.

More soon, I hope.

One's too many and a hundred's not enough.

Music: REM - Wichita Lineman

Updated the What to Think section. And now, some nerdy game-related bullshit:

So, about a year ago, shortly after the release of Resident Evil 4, I decided that since it didn't seem likely there would be a port of it for any other system, with producers of the game vehemently expressing loyalty to their platform of choice and saying things like "it just wouldn't work on any other system," I traded in a bunch of my PS2 games and some cash for a used GameCube and a new copy of said game. Well, since then not only has there been a port of Resident Evil 4 for the PS2, but Ubisoft has recently issued a press release stating that they are going to start publishing PC versions of Capcom titles, including Onimusha 3, Devil May Cry 3, and, yes, Resident Evil 4.
Goddamn it.
For those of you with Half-Life 2 there's a rather large mod worth checking out, which is almost a complete overhaul of all the textures, replacing them with crisper, more detail high-res versions. The effect isn't that overwhelming, though everything does appear sharper and cleaner, but if the game didn't bring your system to its' knees it certainly will now.

Lastly, Jackson Publick (alias of Christopher McCulloch), creator of The Venture Bros., put up some still shots of the new season on his LiveJournal, just to prove that it's actually in the works and close to completion.

That's all for now.

I guess you don't feel burned out by the human misery and despair perpetrated by the criminal vermin that infest every pore of this decaying city, forcing you to guzzle cheap wine and cheaper whiskey to dull the pain that shatters your heart, rips at your soul, and keeps your days forever gray. What flavor Icee you got today?

Music: David Holmes - 160 Million Dollar Chinese Man

I think I've received an e-mail sent from the future, but it's encoded in some way that I cannot fully comprehend its contents. I believe it to be a warning of events to come and that I may be holding the one shred of hope left for the survival of humanity. If only I could understand what it is the mystery author is trying to say!

It may rather just be a sort of garbled interstellar haiku.

I recently purchased a new 250GB hard drive on the cheap and have decided to pass the savings on to you! I'm going to share its' contents with you by putting up an FTP server, just ask me for the details.
